President Obama says that America needs an all-of-the-above energy strategy that invests in new technologies and ends the billion in annual subsidies to oil companies that are earning historic profits.

Yeah, forget about the media trying to pump Obama up and pretending that he’s still wildly popular. They even had Jimmy Carter in a close race with Reagan, not long before Reagan won 44 states. But Obama has lost the youth. He’s lost women. He’s lost eh Independents. In 2008 he beat a doddering old fool in McCain, who actually agreed with Obama on a lot of issues like? man-made global warming and TARP. There’s no way Obama can beat Romney. Whether Romney will be any good remains to be seen.

If a hundred year old (foregin) company that has profits in the billions cannot make it without the govz help they too should be allowed to? fail or need to manage thier buisness better... Depends what sort of reactor it is. Look up Thorium for the next generation. Old reactors are obsolete and badly? designed. Even those (believe it or not) have vastly smaller death and sickness rates compared to coal which is the only other realistic alternative.
Oil is finite. It doesn’t matter what you do, it will get more expensive and eventually run out. Starting the transition now is? the only way.
I demand? a profit.
When oil falls out of favor, then i will get into something else.
Example, housing boom. I Bought 4 houses, sold 3, 4th was foreclosed on, since it lost value, and I only put $2000 on it (thank you democrats). No tax problems thanks to obama and Banks in AZ cannot go after you for the balance owed and now am getting a few thousand back thanks to obama.

Plant some seeds... Once you get a good harvest maybe you can sell to your neighbor... I planted a comunity garden in my yard and give away my goods... Went to Obama’s website where the claim is? made that:
“President Obama and his Administration are supporting the construction of the first new nuclear power plant in decades, which will provide clean electricity for nearly 1.4 million Americans.”
When precisely did nuclear energy become “clean”? The pollution it creates is not naturally occurring in large amounts, and may remain radioactive for thousands of years. Leaving toxic waste behind for 100s of generations to enjoy is not “clean”.
Yup. I was remembering today when I used to cook a couple chickens every week and a brisket every month. Now I get 1 small chicken per week, beef only on sale(rarely), and pay 1/3 more for everything. Now with gas on the climb again and my broken down American made car I? can’t work unless it’s in my garage.
I almost killed my car to get a decent machine the other day. Now I have to fix it somehow. I can’t even pay my cell phone bill every month let alone start a new business. I’ll do it somehow.

Obama and his? pausing, drop off, fragmented, chopped up speeches annoy the hell out of me. I want to hear someone who can at least finish a damn sentence. Someone who has the confidence to deliver the same stupid speech without stopping every half sentence like they forgot what they were saying, and have to go looking around for the next word. That looking around and pausing tells me when someone is lying.
